Job position:
Administrative and Project Coordinator


AGORA  is  a  platform of organizations  representing  people  with Rheumatic  and Musculoskeletal Diseases in Southern Europe, which has been active since 2011.

Job description: We are looking for a free – lancer who can work from anywhere within the Europe.


Main tasks

  • Coordinating AGORA’s contribution to different projects
  • Organise and manage all administrative aspects related to project proposals, projects monitoring as well as delivering of AGORA obligations and commitments as set out in project agreements
  • Assisting with partnership management, liaising with project partners and stakeholders as well as coordinating and preparing Board meetings
  • Drafting reports, presentations and other material
  • Active contribution to day-to-day administrative operation (e-mail correspondence, assisting the Treasurer with collecting documentation related to accounts etc)


Qualifications and Skills

  • University or advanced degree
  • Proven work experience (minimum of 2 years) as a Project Coordinator/Manager
  • Previous experiencein event, conference, workshop preparation and organisation
  • Excellent communication skills in English (C2 level), additional language can be an asset


Technical Skills and Competences

  • Flexibility and initiative to respond and change projects and priorities

  • High degree of organisation and time management
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally
  • Ability to work autonomously

Previous work experience in an NGO/Organisation related to health issues

The person selected, should have the flexibility to travel to Cyprus between the 25th – 29th of September for the 8th Agora Annual Conference.
